Thank you so very much for not only creating such a useful program but also for sharing it for free. I used your program to help me figure out the degree for a ground mount solar. Just finished stairs for my deck, without your calculator it would take me a lot of time to figure how to cut it right. I’ve attached some pictures of the project and the final result! The stairs are about 1 million times more sturdy than the pre-existing ones and my parents are so incredibly impressed and grateful. I found it so useful to be able to tinker around with potential ideal rises and runs, tread thickness, riser, thicknesses, and nosings and see how it would impact our final product. In any event, this was our first set of stairs that we’ve ever built and it’s no easy task for a first timer. My wife and I designed and built a set of stairs for my parents, as their existing stairs were not up to code, and had been badly built. I just wanted to let you know that I found your stair calculator incredibly useful. Here is my first hipped roof 11.5 x 11.5 gazebo I did for my cousin.
